When giving a keynote address, the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Basic Education in the Ministry of Child Welfare and Basic Education, Professor Agreement Lathi Jotia appreciated the Broadcasting Organisation initiative of playing a fundamental role of mentoring students.

He informed the participants that TBO is doing a marvellous job by mentoring students on STEAM education as the Ministry is on a transformation process; gearing towards STEAM Curriculum.
Professor Jotia reaffirmed the Public Private Partnership in strengthening the education system. He gave credits to Botswana Insurance Company (BIC), Botswana International University of Science & Technology (BIUST) and University of Botswana (UB) for being instrumental in the education system.
The Deputy Permanent Secretary advised students to remain focused, listen to both their teachers and parents advises and instructions. He told them that geographical location does not stop anybody to shine, to dream big and their dreams will come true. He also reminded learners that excellence without respect is meaningless.
