FNB Botswana has reaffirmed its commitment to athletics by unveiling a P6 million sponsorship for the FNB Botswana Golden Grand Prix. The sponsorship will strengthen one of the country’s premier sporting events.

The announcement represents the growing importance of the Grand Prix, not only as a competition but as a platform driving national pride and international recognition. Speaking on the sponsorship, FNB Botswana Chief Executive Officer Steven Bogatsu emphasized the event’s broader impact.

“The Botswana Golden Grand Prix has become more than a competition. It is now a platform of national significance that showcases Botswana’s ability to host, inspire and create opportunity through sport,” he said.

This year’s edition of the FNB Botswana Golden Grand Prix is set to take place on Sunday, 26 April 2026 at the National Stadium, where fans can expect top-tier performances and a celebration of athletics at its finest.
