The leadership of the Botswana Congress Party ( BCP) has invited all former members to return to The Party-of-Choice.
In a statement, the party said “We recognize that certain decisions, messages, or missed opportunities in the past may have led to disappointment or caused you to walk away from a political home you once believed in. We acknowledge those moments; and we are ready to listen, learn, and grow from the insights you’ve gained during your time away.

Since the 2024 elections, we have been hard at work renewing our vision, reshaping our constitution, and opening our doors to a more inclusive, dynamic future. We are reimagining a Party that truly reflects the hopes, struggles, and aspirations of all Batswana. A Party prepared to work collaboratively – with you and all stakeholders – to 𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 once we obtain state power.

We invite you to return – not just as members, but as co-architects of the future. Join us in developing bold strategies to rebuild the nation and uplift the lives of our people.

We know your commitment to social democratic values remains strong. And we assure you that the BCP is more dedicated than ever to building a better Botswana – Botswana 3.0 – as we position ourselves to assume state power in 2029.
