    FNB Botswana Brings Health and Care to Letlhakane Community

    Hundreds of residents turned up for the FNB Letlhakane–Zowa Wellness Day, where First National Bank Botswana brought together health experts, colleagues, and community members for a day of free medical check-ups, health education, and wellness activities. The event underscored the Bank’s commitment to being a bank that genuinely cares for the wellbeing of its people.


    Held under the theme “Delivering Health Through Hope & Care,” the Wellness Day focused on Diabetes Awareness and Prevention, providing free testing and medical consultations to help people take charge of their health. Services offered included diabetes and hypertension testing, prostate screening, HIV and STI testing, nutritional advice, physiotherapy sessions, and blood donation drives.

    “As a Bank, we believe that true prosperity begins with good health. When our communities are healthy, they are empowered to thrive and that’s why FNB Botswana is investing in initiatives that support wellness and preventative care,” said Porogo.


    Residents of Letlhakane expressed deep gratitude for FNB’ Botswana’s efforts, noting that such initiatives bring much-needed healthcare support to their community. Many said the event gave them access to medical services they often struggle to reach and praised the Bank for taking a leading role in promoting health and wellbeing.


    Peo Porogo, FNB Botswana’s Director of Marketing and Communications, said the Wellness Day is part of the bank’s ongoing commitment to improving lives beyond financial services.
    “As a Bank, we believe that true prosperity begins with good health. When our communities are healthy, they are empowered to thrive and that’s why FNB Botswana is investing in initiatives that support wellness and preventative care,” said Porogo.

    She added that the initiative also reflects the bank’s purpose-driven approach to community engagement.


    “FNB Botswana is more than just a financial institution; we are a partner that cares deeply about the people we serve. This Wellness Day allowed us to connect with the community by listening, supporting and providing help where it matters,” she said.


    The FNB Letlhakane–Zowa Wellness Day not only promoted physical health but also strengthened community ties, reinforcing FNB Botswana’s position as a bank that leads with compassion and demonstrates care for its people.
