Air Botswana Going Nowhere

Dear Air Botswana,

Once again you are proving how incredibly dysfunctional you are. What should be a 1hr flight from Maun to Gaborone is now a 3 hr flight via Kasane… Bp034

Today is ment to be my return to Gabs following my last post about AirBots. Delays are now the norm at #GoingNoWhere … domestic tourism in BW is just a dream with this airline.

So to go to Gaborone now I need to go north from Maun first?! I need to have someone collect me after 9pm in Gabs… 3 HOURS LATE!!!! on a week night?! In this cold!

I normally have a lot of words to describe how I feel about things, AirBotswana you have left me speechless. Words fail me.

I feel sorry for the staff at the counters that have to get ear fulls for the total lack of planning ability of AirBotswana. It’s not the check-in staff’s fault … shame. This is a leadership problem, and it needs to be urgently fixed.

I am a true advocate for buying and supporting local… however I also strongly believe that buying local should not mean accepting substandard as the norm. We can do better and we should do better – our Taxes must not be poured down the drain like this.
