Africa Sports Ventures Group (ASVG) is delighted to announce Busang Collen Kebinatshipi of Botswana as the African Athlete of the Month for September 2025, following his breathtaking performance at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan.

Kebinatshipi’s electrifying run in the men’s 400 meters final not only earned him the World Championship gold medal but also set a new Botswana national record of 43.53 seconds, the world-leading time for the season. His performance made history as he became the first Botswanan male athlete to win a world title in the 400m — a moment that captured the hearts of fans across the African continent and beyond.
