Orange Botswana has reaffirmed its commitment to affordability and digital inclusion, emerging as the operator with some of the most consumer-friendly data prices in the country. This is shown in a recent comparative study released by the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA), which reviewed data pricing structures across all major telecom operators.

The benchmark which showed retail data offerings industry-wide, revealed that Orange Botswana continues to lead in delivering value-driven products that are competitively priced and accessible to a broader base of consumers.

“We have always believed that affordability is the foundation of true digital inclusion,” said Orange Botswana CEO Néné Maïga. “The BOCRA benchmark simply affirmed what our customers already know,  Orange Botswana is consistently offering some of the best-priced data products in the market.”

“We have always believed that affordability is the foundation of true digital inclusion,” said Orange Botswana CEO Néné Maïga.

Orange Botswana has reduced its 100MB bundle from P5 to P2, making it one of the lowest-priced entry-level bundles nationwide . Furthermore the company has enhanced its monthly large-bundle portfolio with the introduction a new 150GB bundle priced at P599,  a significant improvement from the previously offered 100GB bundle, which was priced at P899 and has now been discontinued.

The comprehensive restructuring reflects Orange Botswana’s ongoing efforts to align its products with consumer behaviour and market dynamics. The operator has increasingly emphasised affordability and broader digital inclusion, positioning competitive pricing as central to its strategy. With this decisive shift, Orange Botswana has set a new benchmark for affordability, reinforcing its ambition to lead the market in accessible, consumer-centred connectivity.
