FNB Botswana has been recognised as the Number One Top Employer in Botswana for 2026 and has earned the Top Employer Africa certification for the second consecutive year. The recognition coincides with the Bank’s 35th anniversary, marking a major milestone in its commitment to people and culture.

Awarded by the Top Employer Institute, the certifications validate the Bank’s strong people practices, positive employee experience, and highperformance culture. FNB Botswana has participated in the certification process for two years as part of its strategy to strengthen its employer brand and attract, engage, and retain top talent.

The recognition reinforces FNB Botswana’s long-standing investment in learning and development, employee wellbeing, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. It strengthens the Bank’s competitive position in the market at a time when many peers leverage similar certifications to enhance employer branding.

Human Capital Director Mlungisi Jackalas said the achievement demonstrates the Bank’s dedication to developing its people, listening to employees, and creating an environment where talent can thrive. He emphasised that the accomplishment reflects the collective effort of staff and the Bank’s values: “who we are when no one is watching.”
