She added that the Group’s support reflects its broader commitment to national development and community upliftment: “At BIHL Group, we are committed to improving livelihoods and supporting initiatives that inspire pride and progress. This partnership is not only about supporting an event – it is about investing in our athletes, our youth, and the future of Botswana.”

The sponsorship, delivered in kind, will support key operational areas critical to the successful delivery of the event. These include the provision of accreditation lanyards for officials, support towards the official welcome dinner for athletes and stakeholders, and the installation of screens at stadium entry and exit points used by athletes.

These contributions are expected to enhance the overall experience for participants and guests, while ensuring a seamless and professionally executed global event. The World Athletics Relays present a unique opportunity for Botswana to showcase its ability to host international sporting events, while fostering unity, driving economic activity, and inspiring future generations of athletes.

BIHL Group’s involvement underscores the role of the private sector in supporting national priorities and elevating Botswana’s global profile through strategic partnerships.
