Gaborone, Botswana 30 October 2025 – Miss Botswana, Ruth Thomas, jetted off to Kasane this past weekend, where she officiated at the prestigious Miss Chobe Tourism Botswana pageant on Saturday 25 October 2025, a celebration of the beauty of Botswana, our diverity of culture, and the vibrant spirit of Botswana tourism. 

Air Botswana is honoured to host Miss Botswana aboard as she pursues her national duties across the country. Her engagements are in fulfilment of the Miss Botswana mandate and mission to inspire pride, unity, and purpose among Batswana and give exposure to local cultural enterprising. The airline’s support underscores a shared vision of showcasing Botswana’s elegance, excellence, and promise.

Miss Botswana Officiates at Miss Chobe Tourism Botswana

Speaking during the event, Miss Botswana reaffirmed the importance of uplifting local tourism and empowering young women to be ambassadors of their communities. “Chobe represents the soul of Botswana’s natural beauty. It is a privilege to witness such talent and passion in one of our most renowned destinations. I intend to continue with these engagements to encourage youth like myself. It is also vital that we as Batswana explore our landscapes, and hold the door open to the world with a big invitation to say – come to Botswana! A re fofe mmogo!” Thomas said. 

From Kasane to Maun, Francistown to Gaborone, Miss Botswana continues to journey across the nation celebrating our beauty, diversity, and spirit. Each destination adds a new chapter to her story of inspiring pride, unity, and purpose among Batswana, while showcasing the people and places that make Botswana truly extraordinary.
