Botswana has a new queen! Ruth Thomas was officially crowned Miss Botswana 2025, taking on the mantle of representing the country on the international stage. The highly anticipated coronation, held over the weekend, marked the beginning of Thomas’ reign as the new face of Beauty with a Purpose.

Stepping into a legacy of grace, strength, and service, Thomas now carries the responsibility of using her platform to inspire and uplift communities across Botswana. As part of her journey, she will represent the nation at the 73rd Miss World Competition, where she is expected to showcase Botswana’s rich culture, resilience, and beauty to a global audience.

The Miss Botswana organization has expressed confidence in Thomas’ ability to make a lasting impact. “She embodies everything this title stands for—poise, intelligence, and a heart for service. We have no doubt that she will make Botswana proud,” said the organizers in a statement.
