The much-anticipated Silent Disco Boat Cruise is set to return to the Chobe River on 28 February 2026, promising a bigger, more immersive entertainment experience following the Kazungula Bridge Marathon weekend.
Hosted by World Style (Pty) Ltd, a Kasane-based event management company led by Mrs Rachel Benedict, the Director, the cruise has become one of the most distinctive lifestyle events in northern Botswana. The company is known for creating innovative events that blend entertainment, tourism and environmental appreciation.
This year’s edition raises the bar significantly, with two boats operating simultaneously, seven leading local DJs, a surprise performance, and four live DJ channels playing at the same time. Guests will enjoy a five-hour, eco-friendly cruise along the scenic Chobe River, making it the only event of its kind in Botswana.

Using special wireless headphones, attendees will be able to switch between music channels and select their preferred soundtracks while sailing past iconic landmarks such as Sedudu Island, taking in the renowned Chobe sunset and the region’s rich wildlife and natural beauty.
Organisers say the event is designed to promote tourism diversity, glamour and nature-based experiences in Chobe, a major tourism hub that is often overshadowed by neighbouring Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Livingstone in Zambia, where entertainment offerings are more developed. By introducing premium lifestyle events, World Style (Pty) Ltd aims to strengthen local tourism, support creative industries, and position Kasane as a destination for high-quality entertainment.

The full DJ line-up is expected to be announced next week. Ticket prices are set at P650 for VIP, P500 for Standard, and P3,600 for a Corporate Table of six. Tickets are limited.
