The Election Committee, convened on the same day, reviewed all reports and objections before unanimously declaring Tebogo June June as the duly elected President of the BCP Youth League. The final tally reflects a decisive victory with the following results:

Cde Brian Samoka: 194 votes

The BCP leadership extended hearty congratulations to all candidates, winners, and delegates who participated in the electoral process, emphasizing the importance of youth engagement in shaping the future of Botswana.

The BCP says that under June June’s leadership, the Youth League has already marked historic milestones, including electing the first female Youth League President and launching Botswana’s first-ever Youth Manifesto during the 2024 general elections.
The party called on Botswana’s youth to unite and collaborate in championing their interests, especially those who remain economically marginalized by current government policies. The BCP remains committed to empowering young people and fostering inclusive development across the nation.
