The Office of the President has announced that former President Festus Gontebanye Mogae is currently unwell and receiving medical care at a hospital in Gaborone.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, the government said Mogae is in a stable condition. While no details were provided about the nature of his illness, OP assured the public that his condition is being closely monitored.

“The former President remains in a stable condition. The Office of the President will continue to keep the nation informed of any significant developments,” the statement read.
