The Botswana National Front (BNF) Treasurer, Comrade Arafat Kitso Khan’s Campaign Team wishes to express its debt of gratitude to all comrades that embarked on a massive campaign trail to secure the Office of the Party Treasurer at the just ended Elective Congress in Palapye over the President’s Day holiday.
Anchored on the unwavering commitment to mobilize resources for BNF Headquaters (Kopano House) and Party structures across Botswana, the Campaign Team channelled their resources, including time to canvass for votes from Members, especially delegates ahead of the Congress
To this end, the BNF Treasurer, Comrade Arafat Kitso Khan remains truly committed to delivering on his promises, including resource mobilization to prepare for the 2029 General Election.
Inspired by the mass movement’s longstanding principles, philosophy and legacy, Comrade Arafat Kitso Khan has reiterated his commitment to ensure that the BNF remains a beacon of hope and stability for the masses for the next 60 years.
As Comrade Arafat Kitso Khan assumes his role as the BNF Treasurer, he has set targets and clear goals consistent with the BNF and UDC Government commitment to promote inclusive growth through providing decent lives and jobs.
The Party Treasurer, Comrade Arafat Kitso Khan wishes to commend Comrade Barongwang for his spirited campaign for the Treasury and shall greatly tap into his thoughts and ideas on the Treasury.
By the same token, Comrade Arafat Kitso Khan wishes to equally commend former Party Treasurer, Comrade Noah Salakae for his immense contribution to the success of the Party at the 2024 General Election as the custodian of the Party’s Treasury.
In conclusion, Comrade Arafat Kitso Khan wishes to thank and invite BNF members and supporters to be part of the ideathon on ensuring a modern, transparent and progressive Treasury of the mass movement.
