Gaborone, Botswana – Friday 12th December, 2025 will never be same as the SPAR Level Up Your Hustle 2025 campaign came to a close. The grand finale was energetic and interactive, but grounded in something more lasting: a recognition of the everyday effort that carries households, small businesses and communities forward. The campaign is a true indication that everyday moments might seem unremarkable, but they tell the story of a country built on determination, hard work and shared responsibility.

Finalists took part in a gamified draw, opening gift boxes that revealed either a P50,000 cash prize or one of the four brand-new Suzuki Balenos. Regardless of the outcome, each finalist left with something in hand; deliberate reminder that the campaign was designed around inclusion rather than spectacle.

Finalists took part in a gamified draw, opening gift boxes that revealed either a P50,000 cash prize or one of the four brand-new Suzuki Balenos.

Beneath the celebration was an acknowledgement of the everyday Motswana who wakes up each morning to make things work, juggling responsibilities, the students pushing through long nights of study and the business owners stretching their resources. These efforts translated into fourteen (14) Batswana walking away with the following prizes:

    (1) Cash Prize Winners: P50,000: Mathata Masake; Tiro Coangae; Maleba Rammei; Botshelo Modise; Ofentse Kgosiesele; Dimakatso Ebuletswe; Tebogo Moremi; Tebogo Ramoleko; Tiroyamudimo Taunyane and Mopati Kgosikhumo.

    (2) Suzuki Baleno Winners: Rachel Nekati; Fenyang Gasefiwe; Omponye Mosenene and Charity Tshukudu.

Over the course of twelve weeks, the campaign reached households across Botswana, with over P4 million in prizes through instant in-store wins, weekly cash and social media rewards. What stood out were the stories behind the wins, from parents using vouchers to cover school mopako, to small business owners receiving a boost for their hustles, to winners like Fenyang Gasefiwe who shared, “This car is an amazing Christmas present for me! I am finally going to start a community project that had long come to a standstill. I can’t hold back the tears.”

In his remarks, Gareth Jooste, Tsetseng Retail Group Director, reflected on the broader impact, “Level Up Your Hustle reminded us that progress is built in ordinary places. Across towns like Maun, Molepolole, and Kanye, we’ve seen how support can translate into real change. It helped families, small businesses regained momentum and contributed to local economies. It’s a reminder that retail can play a constructive role in everyday life, in ways that align with Botswana’s national development goals.”

This campaign brings light to the simple truth that when initiatives are shaped around real needs, their impact extends well beyond the moment of winning. Level Up Your Hustle 2025 leaves behind lasting impact, one grounded in an approach to community engagement that delivers value where it matters most, reinforcing the idea that My SPAR My Botswana is a practical contributor to social and economic progress.
