Township Rollers have secured a five-year technical sponsorship agreement with Italian sportswear manufacturer Diadora and announced a retail partnership with Options that will see official club merchandise distributed through 26 stores across Botswana.
The agreements were unveiled this week as the club prepares for the new FNB Premiership season.
Under the sponsorship agreement, Diadora becomes Township Rollers’ official technical sponsor and will supply playing kits, training apparel and equipment for players and technical staff over the next five years.
Speaking during the launch, Township Rollers chairman Thapelo “Fish” Pabalinga said the agreement represented an important milestone for the club.
“The stability of a five-year technical sponsorship allows us to plan with confidence, invest in talent development and expand our impact beyond football by creating more opportunities for young people to participate in sport and build brighter futures,” Pabalinga said.
“This long-term partnership is more than a supply agreement. It is a vote of confidence in our vision, our values and our ability to represent Township Rollers with pride, professionalism and passion on every field we step onto,” said Pabalinga.
Rollers also announced that Options will become the club’s official merchandise distributor, making official products available through its network of 26 stores nationwide.
Pabalinga said the arrangement would improve access to club merchandise for supporters across the country.
“We are ensuring that our supporters, from the smallest village to the largest town, can proudly wear the Township Rollers badge,” he said.
“This partnership strengthens the bond between the club and the community while creating a more efficient and accountable retail system.”

According to the club, the five-year sponsorship agreement will support its plans for long-term development, including youth programmes and community initiatives. “The stability of a five-year technical sponsorship allows us to plan with confidence, invest in talent development and expand our impact beyond football by creating more opportunities for young people to participate in sport and build brighter futures,” Pabalinga said.
Addressing players, Pabalinga said the club’s colours carried significant responsibility.
“When you wear this shirt, you wear the hopes of a nation and the aspirations of countless young footballers across Botswana. It represents unity, identity and professionalism.”
He also encouraged supporters to support the club through the purchase of official merchandise available through the new retail network.
“This sponsorship not only introduces a new look but also delivers improved quality and greater accessibility, making it easier for every supporter to proudly wear the club’s colours wherever they are,” he said.
The Diadora and Options partnerships form part of Township Rollers’ commercial activities ahead of the upcoming season.
