The 2025/26 FNB Premiership season will officially conclude on Saturday, 23 May 2026, with Gaborone United taking on BDF XI at the Gaborone United Stadium in Gaborone. Kick-off is scheduled for 15h00, with thousands of supporters expected to attend the highly anticipated season-closing fixture.
This occasion will not only mark the closing chapter of another thrilling football season but also celebrate the continued growth and success of the FNB Premiership partnership, now in its second season. Over the past two years, the league has continued to grow in stature, creating exciting football moments while strengthening connections between Clubs, Supporters, and Communities.
To close off the season, FNB Botswana has planned a premium match-day experience featuring fan activations, live entertainment, hospitality experiences and supporter engagement activities aimed at creating a memorable season-closing celebration for football fans.
Speaking ahead of the final fixture, FNB Botswana Chief Marketing Officer, Ms Peo Porogo said the event reflects the positive impact football continues to have in communities across Botswana.
“The FNB Premiership has become more than just a football competition. It is a platform that brings people together, inspires young talent and creates opportunities for communities across the country. As we conclude our second season as sponsors, we are proud of the growth the league continues to experience and the passion supporters continue to show week after week,” said Porogo.
